The Urban Sugar Shack

The Urban Sugar Shack offers participants a chance to rediscover traditional maple taffy prepared right before their eyes. A treat for the taste buds!

On April 5th from 11 am to 2 pm, the Centre for Sustainable Development will be hosting an urban sugar shack event in collaboration with Equiterre. A chance to sweeten participants up and raise public awareness about climate change issues. A win-win!

The DeLessard maple farm will be setting up shop in front of Centre, right on St. Catherine Street. Their maple taffy is sure to be a treat for the taste buds!

Their delicious taffy will be offered for $2 a pop to those attending the round table on climate change and agriculture [French], an event presented in collaboration with the Regroupement national des conseils régionaux de l’environnement du Québec.

Other maple products from the DeLessard maple farm located in St-Joseph-des-Érables, Beauce, will also be available.

Duration: 5 hours. To reserve your seat to the round table and your taffy, sign up here: lamdd.org/rsvp
