Mission
Le Petit Réseau’s main mandate is to provide quality educational daycare services for Hydro-Québec and Centre for Sustainable Development employees. Its mission is built around three basic principles; its daycare mission (health and security), its educational mission (pedagogic approach) and its social mission (involvement in the community).
Current areas of activity
The daycare mission ensures children are cared for while their parents are at work. Le Petit Réseau protects children’s health and ensures their safety by offering them safe and healthy premises adapted to their needs.
The educational mission is based for the most part on the Québec childcare curriculum. This mission aims to establish a context where children may develop in harmony with the group while also having a privileged place in the daycare. At Le Petit Réseau, each child is unique and learns on his own through play. We aim to create an affective environment that’s healthy, safe as well as stimulating, in which small children evolve, learn and discover while having fun.
Finally, the social mission ensures the daycare centre plays an active role in its community. As its premises are located in the Centre for Sustainable Development, Le Petit Réseau’s philosophy and daily practices promote eco-friendly and sustainable individual and collective choices.
