Great Urban Picnic

Come and enjoy the sunshine at the Great Urban Picnic’s third edition, organized by the Centre for Sustainable Development in collaboration with the David Suzuki Foundation. Event starts at 10 o'clock on Friday, May 20th, in the Hydro-Québec park adjacent to the Centre.
On the agenda for this annual summer blowout:
- Yoga sessions, including post-natal classes
- Tips on how to attract monarch butterflies to your garden
- Mandala-drawing workshop (for adults and kids alike!)
- Everything you have ever wanted to know about home-grown mushrooms and homemade kombucha
- Giant wooden games and lots of prizes!
Starting at 11:30, join in for a green lunch and enjoy:
- Food-truck meals and snacks
- Urban honey, Lufa Farm vegetables grown on Montreal roofs... and insect tastings!
- The Urban Nutritionist will be giving a conference on "Saving the planet one bite at a time" [French only] and will be hosting his own version of the "Iron Chef" for the young cooks of La Tablée des chefs!
