From April 15 to May 6 2014, the Centre for Sustainable Developement will be presenting the exhibition Paper, a Collector’s Item, in collaboration with the Contemporary Art Galleries Association (AGAC) and the Ville-Marie borough, as part of the contemporary art fair Papier14.
Special challenges and creative potential
This contemporary art exhibition puts forward the medium of paper and suggests reflecting on the challenges of using paper as creative potential. Additionally, the collected works highlight emerging artists and demonstrate the concerns of the National Bank Collection in encouraging and supporting the emergence of a new generation of artists in Quebec and Canada.
Opening
The opening of the exhibition will take place on April 15th, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Centre for Sustainable Development. Voluntary contributions. Sign up here: www.lamdd.org/rsvp
Papier14
Exclusively dedicated to works on paper (paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures and photography), the paper art fair is the only event of its kind in North America. This year, its seventh edition will take place in front of the Centre for Sustainable Development, under an elegant white marquee tent in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles, from April 25 to 27, 2014.
