Nuit blanche at the Centre!

On March 1rst from 8 pm to 2 am, the Centre for Sustainable Development will be hosting a Nuit blanche brimming with artistic and engaged activities. Discover this hub of innovative ideas and stimulating encounters.
Activism and slam poetry with Samian, Ivy & Co.
At 10 pm and midnight, revel in the creativity and flair of a cappella poets slamming on two hot topics: human rights and climate change. With Samian, Ivy and special guests Mehdi Hamdad, Miss Claudia, Xavier and Benoit Ponton, in collaboration with Slamontréal.
Onstage art and exhibition
From 8 to 10 pm, watch artist Catherine Plaisance create artwork live on stage, an event held in collaboration with the WWF. Her Désolation exhibition, a series of collages on wood evoking landscapes devastated by climate change, will be open to the public all evening.
Light painting Métro
From 8 pm to midnight, get your creative juices flowing with a light painting activity. Ready in just a few minutes, the final product will be yours to take home.
Quiz "Avouez"
Amnistie internationale Canada francophone challenges you to a surprising quiz on torture.
Winter photobooth
Get a chance to win several prizes by estimating your carbon footprint and getting your picture taken in a wintry theme at the David Suzuki Foundation booth.
Nature and the artist
Meet with the WWF and discover a ton of cool tools for limiting your impact on the environment! After 10 pm, stop to chat with Catherine Plaisance while she finishes her work of art.
DJ performances
From 8 pm to 2 am and in between slam sessions, two DJs will keep you warm with their hot beats and funky rhythms.
Marius Bistro and bar
The Marius bistro and bakery, a brand new tenant at the Centre, will be serving food and drinks all evening. Prepare to discover their secret weapon: LA BUVETTE de Marius, a bar serving pastis in all its colours and flavours.
