Experience summer at the Centre to the beat of Montreal's festivals

This summer, the Centre for Sustainable Development’s festive activities and thought-provoking talks will be intertwined with many of Montreal’s most notable festivals, such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada, the Montreal International Jazz Festival and the 2016 World Social Forum.

Articulated around two main themes, “living healthy” and “living in society”, this summer’s program presents about twenty events, including panels, talks, exhibits, art openings, guided tours, a green dating event and a great urban picnic. The desacralization of solo driving, contaminants threatening our brains, innovative practices for organizing festivals and the GMO situation in Canada after twenty years are just a few of the issues being tackled this season.
